The Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can wedge; with a special heated oxide treatment, the new Spin Milled Oil Can finish provides the same great soft feel as the Vokey Raw wedges.
By working with Tour players to create wedges that performed under the most challenging major championship conditions, Bob Vokey has developed a precisely machined, tight tolerance groove that provides the player with increased spin on both full and partial wedge shots.

The Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can wedges feature a CNC machined cut face and grooves. A special circular saw style cutting tool is used to create precise grooves with a steeper draft angle and a tighter edge radius for increased friction. The Vokey Spin Milled wedges have 30% more groove volume than a conventional wedge, which provides more consistent and higher spin, particularly from grassy lies and in wet conditions.

The new 2009 Vokey Design Spin Milled series of wedges from Titleist are a line-up from master wedge maker Bob Vokey that represents an ideal blend of technology and craftsmanship. With all the wedges having CAD generated profiles, multiple bounce options and tour inspired sole grinds the player has a matrix of performance characteristics to fit a wide range of styles, course conditions and shot making requirements. All the wedges are engineered from soft 8260 carbon steel and are milled with Tour-validated technology to ensure that the faces are perfectly flat and the grooves are machined with a special circular saw-style cutting tour as well as the milling of a series of micro-edges for added face friction. All of this adds up to 30% more groove volume that translates to 10% more spin in the dry and an exceptional 85% more control in wet conditions.
