am my golf club set ok for a beginner?

i just learned how to swing, and played golf for 2 months. i bought a new cobra SZ steel iron set, a used taylormade r7 CGB MAX 10.5 driver and just bought a used cobra SS fairway 3& 5 woods, is that ok and enough for me?? thankyou!!

Of course it is. Being a beginner, don't get wrapped up with the "perfect" clubs. Learn to swing what you have, even if they are a mismatched set. You'll make the adjustments later.
Liking your clubs is half the battle because golf is a mostly mental game. If you like your equipment, you'll spend more time thinking about the game's in and outs and less time questioning if it's the equipment's 'fault'.

Hit chips with all of your irons, find out the furthest you can hit with each one and the effect of using them in half-swing mode.
And "beat them" to death. By that I mean use them use them use them and don't sweat nicks and scratches. Go out and buy tons of used balls and don't worry about 'losing them'. If you are standing at the tee and you're worried about losing your 'good ball' in the water, then you've already put useless info in your head and are most likely going to lose the ball because you're not concentrating on the swing and the target.

I could go on and on for a beginner, but just use the same swing for all shots until you develop a swing that gets you in the 100 range for a round of 18.

Finally, be honest! If you take a mulligan, add the penalty shot, if you lose a ball, add the penalty shot, if you think the ball is lost, hit a provisional until you find the other.

Shooting a 7, counting a 5, and marking a 6 will do nothing for your game or self-confidence. Hey, 10's and 11's suck, but when you cut that 10 to a 7 next time you play the hole, it will feel great!
