Does the MOS 36B Financial Management Tech "suck"?
I just joined the army and keep reading on this forum that this MOS "sucks". I am not concerned with deploying cause that's part of military life. BUT, I was thinking that 36B would be a good job that would give me skills that can be applied to the civilian world after my enlistment. Is there anyone out there a Financial Management Tech and can you give me some insight on this job? Should I have chosen something different? Thanks you in advance,
In my opinion yeah it does suck. It can get very routine. It does give you some good skills and background if you wish to pursue a financial career on the civilian side.
You spend a lot of time looking up the regulations and showing them to soldiers and that DODFRM is freaking a monster. It is easy though to navigate through.
Working the cash cage is pretty easy.
A lot of paperwork is involved.
