Taylor Made RAC OS 2 or Nike Slingshot OSS?
I am a 15 year old boy who is looking to get serious in golf. Right now i score about it the lower 90's I want a set of irons that has forgivness and that has distance. If you have any other recommendations for irons please tell me thank you.
I am 15 also and have the same dilema. However, hands down my choice would be the Nike Slingshot OSS, just becuase of the forgiveness. You can swing as hard as you want, and the ball goes straight every time. It doesn't matter if you chunk it, top it, or hit on the screws. The ball is going to go.
However, there are better irons out there than these clubs. Look at the new Nike SQ Irons, they use the same technology as the driver. Also, the Nike Slingshot 4Ds are the newer model of the OSS, and feature perimeter power-bow weighting which increases both distance and forgiveness. Finally, you have to give the new Ping G10's a test drive, Ping is known for their irons and these won a ton of awards for being the best irons of the year.
