Wide Sole Irons
I purchased some new irons?
They are the wide sole cavity backs. I seem to "chunk" about 70% percent of my shots now. I had a progressive set previously, and experienced less of that. Is it the clubs or my mechanics?
It is most definitely the mechanics making the most problems, but another problem could be that the club shafts on your new irons are a little longer and you made need to move your ball position a little to adjust to the longer shaft.
Measure them against your other clubs to find out for sure.
