Will Sprint upgrade my phone if my current phone is faulty & discontinued?
I've been battling with my LG Rumor ever since I switched to Sprint last year. They have swapped it out at least 4 times and I continue to struggle with this model of phone. The internet is spotty, I get text messages hours after they are originally sent, my screen doesn't always "flip" when I open to the keyboard, voicemail notifications are non-existent, and the keyboard keys are sticky.
So my question is will Sprint upgrade my phone if they attempt to "swap" it out again since they no longer sell my model of phone?
After swapping the same phone in 3 or more times, within a 6 month time frame, you have the right to trade in for a different phone of equal or less value, or choose one that's made available by Sprint if your particular model is no longer in stock. Sprint will not tell you this, but this is their policy and it's up to you make it happen. Get to know how Sprint system works and just work with it. This is how I'm able to get any phone I want, as well as discounts, perks, and credits.
