Grafalloy Blue Prolaunch

Just got a Ping Karsten used driver need some info please!?

Hello, just got me a used (like new) Ping Karsten driver at local Golfsmith store for $75 with taxes, has an upgraded Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 65X shaft. The original Ping grip is like new, top of the head a tiny narron scuff mark, and sole painted area has tiny dime size scuff mark.

1) Is this club worth $75? Is this a good deal?

2) This is the Karsten TI ST model driver, so what is the head size? Looking at it, I think it's 380cc at most but hits really well, I am a beginner, I hit 218 at Golfsmith with it.

3) Also the ProLaunch shaft is 65X, what does that mean? Stiff? Sure feels like it.

4) Oh last thing, can some post a link to a review of this driver??

1) Honestly, I'd say you got ripped off quite a bit. Generally the TiST models don't go much higher than $40 on resale in good condition. I'm surprised Golfsmith gave you such a raw deal on that. Probably it's higher priced because of the shaft. But I'm surprised they let you walk out the door with an X-flex shaft after you hit it 220 on a launch monitor.

2) The head size is 323 CC, though it does look bigger.

3) The 65X means the shaft weighs approximately 65 degrees, and is an extra stiff flex. If you are hitting this club 220-ish, an extra stiff shaft is harming your game. To be able to hit a driver with an extra stiff shaft, you need to be hitting it about 280 or so. I hit it about 250-260 and I play a stiff shaft. I would reccomend buying a shaft that is regular flex, if you really want to keep this driver. However, the best idea would be to buy a newer driver.
