Ping G10 Driver--The Golfers Are So Passionate About It

Using finite element analysis (FEA) driven by a Cray Supercomputer, Ping engineers optimized the G10 driver's crown, sole and face structure interaction to ensure maximum energy transfer to the ball. The 460cc driver features a larger profile with a taller face and deeper crown that produces a higher MOI (moment of inertia) for greater forgiveness and increased ball velocity.

Thinner crown and face designs provided discretionary weight which is positioned inside the club head to lower the CG (center of gravity) for reduced spin and higher launch.

I'm probably the best golfer on these boards so if you want to read a review that is "dead on", I suggest this one. The people at my golf club often say that I'm the best shotmaker they've seen, including pros. That being said, I liked the Ping G10 iron. It has a crisp feel and the ball launches off of the face. You can work these clubs as well. The AWT stiff shaft leaves a little to be desired and I would special order the Z-Z65 for myself. I play blades because I'm that good but for those of you who 4 and above handicappers I'd suggest the G10.

Just got my new set of G10 irons blue dot +1/2 AWT stiff steel w/ cushion. I couldn't be happier!!! I'm a club junkie and have hit literally every iron out there and came to the conClusion that I love PING irons. I've played cobra and lately taylormade mostly but I've hit callaway a ton. The feel of the pings is unequalled. The callaway comes close but I like the construction ofthe stainless steel and the durability othe G10. some will say they don't likethe looks I think they look sweet and different. Like everyone else pls go get fitted take five minutes and is worth it's weight in gold. I'm 6'2 and played standard forever and adjusted my swing and now that I dont have to do that anymore I cant wait for the strokes to just come off. Get Fitted hit these clubs once and you'll be hooked. And the cushions make them a D 2 swing weigh which i loved and the feel is awesome ever hit is soft. GET eM Ebay 350 bucks can't beat it.

I think the Ping G10 driver is certainly a step up from the G5 and better than the Rapture. I have just bought a G10 and updated from the G5. Like in my old G5 I have a 9 degree stiff shafted, with a prolaunch red. The Ping G10 golf club certainly sends the ball higher than the G5 and would be great for those who struggle to get the ball airborne. The feel off the face is more positive and the flight a little more powerful as opposed to the more floating flight of the G5. I reckon I've gained about 7 yards off the tee with the G10 compared to the G5 with good strikes from both. Cosmetically it's pleasing but the moon is more discrete, however this is great for alignment. In my opinion, a good upgrade over the G5 and outstanding value for money
